New Year, New You

The energy of a New Year offers us a moment for potential change, it doesn’t matter if you are experiencing a significant life event, feeling lost or blocked or generally feeling fed up or unfulfilled. The winter offers you the opportunity to connect more deeply with what you yearn for and the ability to manifest it.

Don’t Do, Just Be

We are always doing, there is much to do, guilt about not doing and a lot that should be done. However Winter is all about R.E.S.T, deep, quiet, slow rest. It’s a time for us to indulge in lengthy sleep, afternoon naps and relaxing meditations, anything that allows us to just be, hidden from the world in the depths of darkness with our eyes closed. Much like the natural world in the northern hemisphere, there is no growth, just deep hidden rest.

Power Of Yin Darkness

Every seed sits below the earths surface yinfully hibernating, awaiting for the strength of the suns yang energy in the spring to give birth to new life. All seeds are potential, before they manifest they must rest. The same is for us, we have limitless potential but resting allows us to hear what needs to be bought to life, a plan, a direction, a feeling, an image whatever it is, it must be clear and obvious to the minds eye, before we bring them to life.

The dark stillness of our watery blueprint is hidden from view, it is illuminated in our dreams, moments of inspiration and intuition, its in our bones. Our destiny comes closer to manifestation when we take deep rest.

Manifesting The New Year

So let January be a chance to be, to step into restful stillness, it’s the hibernation that allows illuminations to come and manifest for your highest good in 2024.

Restful Tips

  • Unable To Rest - jump, shake, dance, move. Being still can be challenging. Adrenaline, anxiety or nervousness can be more noticeable in the winter. Releasing that which has been embodied can clear any restlessness and help to unwind

  • Find A Voice You Like - there is a host of supported guidance online, whether it is guided meditation, guided body scan, guided breathwork or a guided yoga nidra, find the voice and practice that resonates for you, it can be for ten minutes or a full hour. Allow yourself to take the supported rest you need to let go and rest deeply.

  • Face reading, Coaching and Acupuncture - can also provide the awakening you have been looking for, bringing about the much needed change and to live the life you were born to live.

  • Journalling - being still and restful can help create space for exploring your unconscious, to enlighten what it is you are drawn to manifest. Knowing what you want isn’t always clear, sometimes we need to enter into our own darkness and search for the light.
